They will never get Bush

Consider this: Bush has been in office for seven years and every minute of his nearly two terms Liberals have been calling for his impeachment. Every single minute.  Liberals first accused him of "stealing the election".  They leveled that charge because they refused to accept the multiple re-counts in Florida that proved he won the state by more than 500 votes.  Also, Liberals don't understand that the President is elected not by a majority vote of the people but by a majority of the Electoral College, or, as the Libs call it; the "Electrical College".

The "Bush was selected, not elected" rant went on until exactly 9/11/2001.  That was the day the lunatic left began the "Bush Knew" whispering campaign.  It grew to a roar when the hippopotamus Rosie O'Donnell opened her maw and declared that 9/11 "was the first time in history that fire ever melted steel!!!".  She made this admission of mental illness on a major network, and offered it as evidence that the President was obviously in on the conspiracy.

Then came the Iraq war and the failure to find the WMDs the world thought were in Iraq.  The Left, of course, simplified the issue down to a phrase their chattering chimps could actually utter: "Bush Lied!!!!"  Give the Left credit for a slick slogan.  Simple words to express a simple thought that simple minds could absorb to fill their empty cranial cavities.

During the 2006 elections the Congressional Democrats took full advantage of their follower's paranoia about the Bush administration  and promised that if the Dems won the Congress the investigations would commence.  The implication was as plain as the tin foil helmet on their life partner's head: Elect Democrats=Impeach Bush.

Suddenly the leaders of the impeachment parade such as John Conyers and Dennis "Ku Ku" Kucinich were in the majority.  The impeach Bush crowd was so excited they could barely hold their water. Then a funny thing didn't happen. There was no impeachment, and with a Presidential election the Dems hope to win, there NEVER will be an impeachment. The last thing the Democrat party needs is to put their lunatic fringe on full display during a high profile impeachment process.  It would just confirm to the country that the party puts politics ahead of the nation's interest, and that's a secret the Dems hope never becomes known.

In just over one year, Bush will leave office having served the maximum time as President the Constitution allows with out ever standing trial in the Senate despite all of his "crimes".  Furthermore, Bush will enjoy a well deserved retirement free of any possibility of criminal or civil charges the Left might like to pursue.

Despite eight full years of effort and control of Congress the Left LOSES AGAIN. And, Libs, consider this:

We impeached your guy over a little sex. hehehehe

WHY WE FIGHT

What would happen if Al-Qaeda were allowed to take over a weak, war torn country that America had left undefended?  That's really the question we need to ask ourselves as we listen to the President and the wannabes on the other side lay out their respective cases for what to do now.

The President made a strong case in his televised address tonight for continuing the campaign to root out the terrorist in Iraq.  He started with the strongest argument in his arsenal: Al-qaeda is at war against our ally, yes our ally Iraq.

This is the same Al-Qaeda that attacked us many times and the same terrorist group that hit us on 9/11/2001 Not only is that a very strong argument to continue the campaign, it is an honest claim of success so far in that country.

This President, with scant little help from Democrats, has turned a nation once ruled by a mortal enemy of America into our ally in a region of the world where we have too few allies.

Now our ally needs our (continued ) help.  Some Democrats will make weak, worn out  and illogical arguments against standing with America's newest ally, Iraq.  We have heard their talking points ad-nausem "Al-Qaeda wasn't in Iraq before we got there".  Not completely true but, totally meaningless.

When we fight a stateless, ideologiclly based movement we fight them based on where they are, not when they got there. Even if we accept the blame America firsters claim that we caused Al-qaeda to come to Iraq, we should then understand the best place to ambush the bastards is in the country where are troops are waiting for them. Get it?

Now, let's return to the question I asked at the beginning of this post: What would happen if we allowed Al-Qaeda to take over a weak, war torn country that we had left un-defended?  Look at the picture at the top of this post.  Do you remember that day.  That is what happened when we allowed Al-Qaeda to take over the weak, war torn country of Afghanistan.  That's why we fight.
